SALIRA PARTNERS WITH TURN-KEY NETWORK SOLUTIONS (TKNS)FOR LEADING TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES

SUPERCOMM, Atlanta, GA June 4, 2002
Salira Optical Network Systems, Inc., a leading provider of optical access systems, today announced the first phase of the Salira Partner Alliance Program by naming Turn-Key Network Solutions (TKNS) as its first Services Partner. Salira has concluded an agreement with TKNS to provide installation services for the Salira 2000 Platform, Salira's optical access EPON system in selected customer sites. In addition the agreement also calls for TKNS to provide other services such as network design and Engineer, Furnish and Install (EF&I) for the Salira 2000 Platform.

"Salira has developed an optical access system that eliminates the bandwidth bottleneck in carrier networks by delivering true broadband services. When combined with Turn-Key's expertise with various types of telecommunications equipment, including optical network elements, there's an ideal match in meeting the demands of today’s access network deployments."

Turn-Key Network Solutions is a leading provider of Inside Plant (ISP) engineering and installation services including material management, rack and stack, RBOC approved Central Office installation, and optical network deployment. The company also offers Outside Plant (OSP) construction services including route design engineering, aerial and buried construction, splicing, maintenance, and emergency restoration. Turn-Key is certified to perform installation services for SBC and Verizon.

The company's customers include SBC/Ameritech, AT&T Broadband, Worldcom, Verizon Wireless, and various others.
