Salira ONU 3346
HIGH DENSITY OPTICAL NETWORK UNIT FOR ASIA/PACIFIC
The Salira ONU 3346 is a variation of the flagship Salira 3345 Optical Network Unit (ONU). The 3346 has been specifically designed for the China market. This IEEE 802.3ah standards-compliant, rack-mounted ONU is designed to deliver IP-based triple play services simply and cost-effectively. With 24 Fast Ethernet interface ports, the Salira ONU 3346 can easily support high-density MTU/MDU deployments. In addition, it can support large businesses or high-rise deployments that require a high-level of dedicated bandwidth and/or higher port counts. The 3346 provides superior economic return compared to single-user ONUs, with less distribution fiber needed to reach the same number of subscribers, and with better amortization of CPE equipment over larger numbers of users.
